This Winter Season: Revive and Connect

A three-night retreat in which we’ll deepen connection with ourselves and tend our capacity for vibrant, thriving, relationships with others and the world around us. Set at the start of a new year in beautiful Woodstock NY.

Craving community?

We’re not alone, but sometimes it feels like it. So many of us desire to connect more deeply, or feel something is missing, but we don’t know where to start, or have gotten discouraged along the way. We all deserve authentic connection, purpose, creative force, and joy. We can build the capacity to be present with current events, challenging relationships, and even life’s joyful moments. And it’s better when we do it together.

Let’s re-find it together.

The reason so many of us can’t find, build, or keep the relationships we desire is because we’ve lost depth, intimacy, and loving connection with ourselves. In this retreat, we’ll start there:

  • We’ll build loving curiosity with ourselves using somatic practices to help us remember how much the body already knows, and tells us when we listen.

  • We’ll use heart meditation to fortify our self-love and courage, and then move what we learn from our bodies into motion through writing exercises to uncover values and what is important to us.

  • We’ll build capacity to be “on our mountain” in relationship with others (in conflict and in connection) through more somatic practices, and in a boundary/consent communication workshop we’ll practice communicating needs and desires in a way that builds instead of weakens relationships.

  • With Music, Dancing, Meditation and Death & Rebirth practices we’ll release stagnant energies and stressors that we’ve been holding onto.

Rest and joy are a profoundly important part of the work of healing. Sometimes it’s easier to “do the hard stuff” than it is to actually allow ourselves to rest. Come do both with us.

The Details

Within this 3 night, four day retreat we will delve into somatic awareness, remembering how to listen to ourselves and trust our bodies. We will dance, and discuss. Drink tea and tell tales. Morning circles with yoga and check-ins will open the days, followed by engaging workshops led by Annie and Jenna as well as guest teachers whose specialized skills will guide us to go deep, reflect, and connect.

What’s included:

  • Three days of workshops and activities designed to help you connect with your heart and body so you can more readily connect and be your favorite self with others.

  • Serene lodging at a beautiful property the Catskills, including access to the grounds and sauna.

  • 6 Vegetarian meals, plus self-serve breakfasts, tea, and coffee

Q&A:

I’m local, can I come for just the day?

If you live nearby and want to commute, that is an option but we ask that you commit to attend for the entirety of the weekend’s scheduled activities to support the group container. This cost for this option is $777, the same as a mat in the meditation hall and still includes all meals with the group.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

Sleeping is dorm-style: there are also limited private and semi-private rooms available. If you would like to reserve one of these there will be an up charge. See details above for more information. These are first-come, first-served so please reserve your spot as soon as possible if this is your preference.

I have dietary restrictions…

We can work with you! Contact us with the form bellow to let us know or reach out with any questions.

Will there be snacks?

Lunch and dinner are included in the retreat and there will be self-serve breakfast items. If you tend to need many snacks between meals, please bring what you need to keep yourself energized.

How many participants will attend the retreat?

At capacity the retreat is capped at 12 residential participants with a few spots for commuting participants, if requested, to ensure an intimate group container.

What about travel/parking/public transit?

The retreat will be located walking distance from the center of Woodstock NY. There is a bus from NYC to Woodstock and we are more than happy to arrange a pickup from the bus station to the retreat center when you arrive. There is parking on site, but ride sharing is always encouraged.

If you have room in your vehicle and can offer a ride, or would be interested in a ride/carpool with other attendees, let us know and we can try to connect you with others heading your way, but cannot make any promises! While we are happy to help, all attendees are ultimately responsible for their own travel logistics.

Questions for us? Want to reach out? We'd be so happy to hear from you.
